Getting Started: Running the Browser Check or Installation Wizard

The MathXL for School Browser Check or Installation Wizard installs the plug-ins and players you need to view and interact with the multimedia content in your course.

Depending on your textbook, you will use either the Browser Check or Installation Wizard. These tools are updated as new versions of the plug-ins and players become available, so you should run the Browser Check or Installation Wizard periodically to make sure you have the latest plug-ins.

Go to the MathXL for School Browser Check or Installation Wizard to choose your textbook, view detailed system requirements, and install plug-ins and players for your course.

TIP: You can also access the Browser Check or Installation Wizard directly by clicking the Browser Check or Install link in the MathXL for School toolbar from within your course.
