The Pearson family of math learning products has solutions for all kinds of educational needs.
MathXL® for School is a powerful online homework, tutorial, and assessment system that is available for over 250 Pearson textbooks in Mathematics and Statistics. With MathXL for School, teachers can create, edit, and assign online homework and tests using algorithmically generated exercises correlated at the objective level to the textbook. They can also create and assign their own online exercises for added flexibility. All student work is tracked in MathXL for School’s online grade book. Students can take chapter tests in MathXL for School and receive personalized study plans based on their test results. The study plan diagnoses weaknesses and links students directly to tutorial exercises for the objectives they need to study and retest. Students can also access supplemental learning aids, such as animations and video clips, directly from selected exercises. (MathXL for School includes the same content currently available in MathXL.)
MathXL® Tutorials on CD
This CD-ROM delivers all of MathXL for School’s algorithmically generated practice exercises in an off-line format. Exercises are correlated at the objective level to the exercises in the textbook, and each exercise is accompanied by an example and a guided solution designed to involve students in the solution process. Selected exercises may also include a video clip to help students visualize concepts. The software provides helpful feedback for incorrect answers and can generate printed summaries of students’ progress. Not available for courses in Calculus and Statistics.
MyMathTest is a course of study that can be used to prepare students for high-stakes exams and standardized tests…deliver short-term refresher programs…and assess students’ strengths and weaknesses. MyMathTest tracks all student work; automatically generates individual study plans; and provides unlimited, algorithmically generated practice exercise from a database of problems covering Arithmetic through Precalculus. MyMathTest is a six-week course.

This open-access tutorial website provides algorithmically generated practice exercises that correlate directly to end-of-section exercises in many Pearson Education math books. Using this tool, students can retry exercises as many times as they like, with new values each time for unlimited practice and mastery. Every exercise is accompanied by an interactive guided solution that provides helpful feedback for incorrect answers. Students can also view a worked-out sample problem that steps them through an exercise similar to the one they are working on.
