News & Events: Compatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer® 8

On March 19, 2009, Microsoft made Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) part of its automatic update system. MathXL for School will continue to work normally with IE 8. While Pearson works to make MathXL for School fully compatible, MathXL for School will detect IE 8 and automatically use the Compatibility View option to emulate IE 7.

You do not need to take any action to use MathXL for School with IE 8. For the latest information on Pearson’s support of IE 8, read the current 24/7 Support article on IE 8.
